Anafric and its working group from the sheep and goat sector will meet on May 18, 2023 in one of the most important events of the association, which will also be attended by representatives of the fur industry. The meeting will take place in Malaga and will be hosted by Coviher.

For José Friguls, president of the association, it is about “recovering a meeting of the sector that broke down with the pandemic. It is necessary to put on the table the work and experience of the sheep and goat sector as a leader in animal welfare and sustainability and at the same time convey the message of leather, as a natural product and the result of the circular economy that the sector has always been carrying out”.

From Anafric they have already begun to coordinate the different participations and conferences of the day, which is conceived as a meeting of all the representative companies of the sector associated with Anafric, where they can discuss their concerns and future prospects and, at the same time, create synergies. “Although there is still time to go, it is necessary to close participations and collaborations with companies”.

“It will be an interesting meeting – advances the president of Anafric- because we will share how the increase in the prices of supplies and energy has affected in 2022; how inflation has affected the sale of products since the Christmas dates will have passed and, At the same time, it will help us to know if the current aid from the Government and the EU as a result of the war in Ukraine has been received by the sector”, explains Friguls.
