In relation to the transporters’ strike and its possible impact on the livestock and meat sector, from ANAFRIC we ask:
-Understanding between all parties in conflict, because the only one really affected is the consumer.
-Peace of mind for consumers. There will be no shortage in the market.
-Security guarantees for carriers through the Civil Guard and the National Police to monitor and accompany trucks that transport feed and animals to slaughterhouses. This request seems to be going forward.
-The supply of feed and meat is essential and they are legally essential services. We cannot afford to stop supplying the population and we have to continue exporting.
