- With an annual growth of two figures, the firm will present new services and exclusive products in ovine and goat in the joint pavillion of Anafric
The young company Cárnicas Sierra Sur will show its solvency and thrust at Meat Attraction, from 17 to 19 September in Madrid. Cárnicas Sierra Sur, which repeats for the second consecutive year at this fair, arrives this time with novelties in meat products and also in services, thanks to the recent incorporation of its own slaughterhouse. Cárnicas Sierra Sur, specialized in ovine, goat and halal meat, celebrates its second anniversary by firmly strengthening itself in the sector.
Cárnicas Sierra Sur is a young company, created in 2017, supported by the solid experience of its manager Andrés Campos, with more than 20 years in the meat sector. The company consolidates its position rapidly and this will be the second year that the Andalusian company is present at Meat Attraction, which will take place from 17 to 19 September in Madrid. The firm will be in the joint pavillion of the Anafric meat business association, along with 7 other leading companies in the sector.
Currently, the company, specializing in ovine and goat meat and also halal meat, already has its own production of 3rd and 4th range. From such range, the firm will present its new lamb burgers at the fair in Madrid. As a novelty we will present three different recipes at the fair. The hamburgers are made with lamb leg meat and each one presents a different dressing that makes them tasty and unique, explains the company’s manager. Another product presented by the Andalusian meat company at the fair will be its valued breaded and frozen goatling’s chops, which are already being very successful in Andalusian supermarkets. an teniendo muche cabrito empanadas y congeladas queya estñd que presentaristinto” el sal
Growth, quality and animal welfare
Cárnicas Sierra Sur closed its second year with a 50 % growth and a production of approximately 3.000.000 Kg. The forecast for 2019 is to continue growing at the rate of two figures. Right now we have already exceded the volume of 2018 by 20%, explains the manager. The bet for this second exercise has been its own slaughterhouse, located in Andujar (Jaen). The quality and breadth of these facilities will also allow us to equip ourselves with our own cutting room, adjacent to the slaughterhouse. These will also open opportunities for us in new markets, says Andrés Campos.
Although we have our own slaughterhouse, we continue to work with slaughterhouses in different parts of the peninsula, close to our suppliers of animals, which ensures short trips. In this way we guarantee the quality of the meat and animal welfare, underlines the company.
