Huawei will invest in technology for pig farming

Huawei, one of the world’s leading communications technology firms and known above all for its smartphone brands, has just announced that it is going to launch a project to raise pigs through artificial intelligence seeking to modernize pig farms. In this way, the company plans to apply technology with which to detect disease and achieve greater traceability of the animals.

It would be about developing a facial recognition technology that allows farmers to identify each animal individually as well as being able to control their weight, diet and the daily exercise they do.

This technology has become increasingly in demand due to the challenges faced by the industry in recent years.
