Intercarn 2022, close to hanging the ‘sold out’ sign

Back to Alimentaria, the most important event in the food sector, which will take place in April after being postponed by the covid in 2020, and which is about to hang the ‘all sold’ bill. The next edition of Alimentaria will take place from April 4 to 7 at Fira Barcelona. ANAFRIC will once again have a relevant participation, with a shared stand and with various activities in the program.

The fair will be held again together with Hostelco, the International Exhibition of Equipment for Restoration, Hotels and Communities. Both events intend to occupy more than 100,000 m2 of net exhibition area – almost the entire Gran Vía de Fira de Barcelona venue – and will jointly convene around 4,000 exhibiting companies. 150,000 professionals visited the last edition of the show, in 2018. Of them, almost 30,000 were buyers interested in the meat industry.

From April 4 to 7, 2022 in Hall 3 of the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue, Intercarn will once again show all the power and quality of the Spanish meat sector, revealing the main products of a market that is the fourth sector industrial sector in the country, represents about 3,000 companies and accounts for 2.3% of the national GDP.

The event will be the largest Alimentaria show and its offer will include the main meat companies that will exhibit fresh meats, hams, sausages, stews and other derivatives, or new prepared meat dishes, as well as the main novelties of the market.
