Pork production in northern Europe will decline in the coming years, while it will continue to grow in the south

This is predicted by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP). For example, the organization predicts that Belgium, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands together will produce 11% less in 2025 than in 2020.

Spanish production will continue to increase in the coming years. In 2020 it reached the level of almost 5 million tons, an increase of 41% in the last 10 years. Spain has been the main exporting country to third countries since 2019.
