The Farm-to-Fork Strategy and Its Paradoxes: The Environment

Meat is increasingly singled out when it comes to CO2 emissions to the environment. In Europe, livestock farming is responsible for only 7.2% of greenhouse C02 emissions.

In Europe we are more efficient than the world average, which stands at more than 14.5%. So … where does the other 85% come from? Let’s be clear. Much of global warming is due to the use of fossil fuels to produce energy for our INDUSTRY, for TRANSPORTATION and for our DAILY RESIDENTIAL CONSUMPTION.


The meat sector is part of the solution to get healthy food and stop climate change
