It is a multi-year aid, that is, it will have the call for this year 2020 and one more call for the next two years. For this, three different lines of action have been established:
- The first in investments consisting of the purchase and installation of machinery and equipment or works to fix and reform existing facilities.
- The second in the preparation and drafting of technical projects for the construction of new small slaughterhouses or for the repair and reform works of existing facilities.
The third in investments in the construction of new small slaughterhouses for domestic ungulates. - In this first call, a total of 18 applications were received for an amount of € 150,357.49. 16 are for improvements and reforms in existing slaughterhouses and two to develop new projects.
With these grants it is intended to support “the implementation of new small slaughterhouses”, such as those that are planned to be built in Moianès and Anoia, both in the province of Barcelona.
