The Manacor City Council invests 700,000 to condition the municipal slaughterhouse. “This is a commitment to support the livestock and meat sector”

The Manacor City Council has approved the budgets for next year, which amount to 47.4 million euros (700,000 euros more than this year), among whose maximum investments is the reform of the municipal slaughterhouse to be able to put it back into operation as soon as possible .

The City Council closed the municipal slaughterhouse for not complying with sanitary measures. The municipal council will alleviate the situation and will allocate 700,000 euros to equip it with all the necessary machinery and be able to put it out to tender during the next year. The mayor of Manacor said that it is “a clear commitment of the City Council to support the livestock sector and the meat industry.”
