The Ovinnova project begins to convert transhumance and grazing into a viable and sustainable business model

The next days 22 and 25 July in the towns of Cervera de Pisuerga (Palencia) and Salamón (Crémenes, León) respectively, the public presentation of the Ovinnova project will take place. Its objective is to convert transhumance and grazing into a viable business model that contributes to preserving biodiversity.

It has been launched by a consortium of entities of different profiles that are associated in the figure of the Operational Group to work around transhumance with a joint and multisectoral action approach thanks to funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the European Union through the European Agrarian Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
