The media have echoed the initiatives carried out by various slaughterhouses to immunize their staff. This is the example of Fribin, in Binéfar, where the Janssen single-doses have been applied to prevent, as happened last summer, the occurrence of covid outbreaks involving community transmission and the collapse of hospitals in the province. Other slaughterhouses such as Grupo Jorge or Cárnicas Cinco Villas have also been vaccinated.
The head of Prevention and Health Promotion of the Government of Aragon, Luis Gascón, has confirmed that throughout this week the workers of some of the main slaughterhouses in the region will be vaccinated.
