The PP calls on the Government of Aragon for its support against the blue tongue disease in sheep and cattle. The initiative of the PP consists of four points. In them, it is requested to facilitate the farmers who can carry out the vaccination according to the sanitary situation of their farm so that at the time of incidence of the mosquito the animals have a good immune status.
Likewise, it is advocated to contract a civil liability insurance to cover possible secondary effects derived from vaccination, to supply farmers in both restricted and clean areas with the disinsectant and insect repellent products necessary for their farms, and assume, if necessary and in order to avoid possible negative commercial conditions, vaccination in a clean area charged to the budget of the Government of Aragon.
