They warn about the rise in the price of compound feed and the serious damage to farmers

(UPA) has warned about the situation suffered by a large number of small and medium-sized family livestock farms, which may be aggravated in the near future if the increase in the price of compound feed is carried out, as the industries are already announcing.

The supply by an economic power such as China of one of the most important raw materials used for compound feed formulations, such as soybeans, is the argument that is being used for what seems to be an imminent maneuver by manufacturers to raise animal feed prices. Pig farming absorbs around 43% of all compound feed produced in our country, followed by ruminants (31%) and poultry (21%).
