Unidos Podemos has raised in Congress the possibility of promoting a system of mobile slaughterhouses in autonomous vehicles adapted for slaughter at origin and thus facilitate this task for small and medium-sized farms. This measure would strengthen, according to the group, the majority model of small and medium-sized family farms, by cutting the cost of transporting the animals, the loss of time and the guarantee of control in all channels.
United We can propose to provide mobile slaughterhouses for slaughter at origin, through adapted autonomous vehicles equipped with different spaces, including a slaughter room, another for cutting and sterilization and a cold room.
This measure would allow a slaughter at origin with all sanitary guarantees, since its proposal is that the service have an official veterinarian, with biosanitary control systems and video surveillance, guaranteeing both sanitary measures and respect for animal welfare.
