The Government and the Autonomous Communities met this Wednesday by videoconference with their counterparts from the autonomous communities to address the criteria for the distribution of direct aid of 193 million euros approved by the Government for the agricultural and livestock sector due to the increase in production costs as a result of the war in Ukraine. The Ministry is working to find the sectors most affected by this crisis, so that they have priority in the distribution of aid.
To the 64.5 million euros of this community fund allocated to Spain, the second country with the largest amount, the Government adds 129 million euros more of funds from the General State Budgets (PGE), thus completing the maximum of 200% authorized by the European Commission to each country.
